About Matthew Terry
Bio
Multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Matthew Terry brings his dynamic and captivating solo performance to Southern California. Covering jazz standards from the ‘American songbook,’ smooth jazz, R&B and pop, Matthew’s artistry sets the perfect vibe for events venues, both large and small. Formally trained at Arizona State University, Matthew has been performing professionally for 30 years; and is confident and accomplished in many styles ranging from classical and operatic to symphonic, R&B and jazz.
Starting out on clarinet and singing in boys’ and church choirs as a child, he soon branched out into soprano, alto, tenor saxophone and percussion as well as formal vocal training. Matthew says, “Good music never goes out of style. My favorite part of life as a musician, is having the opportunity to perform and share that good music with others in just about any setting.”
